I am honored to provide my honest opinion to benefit your investment future.
First, there is nothing wrong with the advanced world presented to us including opportunities to invest utilizing a robo advisor automating everything that is done with our money allowing for periodic rebalancing of assets. What this amazing technology gains for us in the potential ability to make us money over time though as for a live advisor there are no guarantees it lacks in the warm and fuzzy of someone that cares enough to mentor and teach you about the phenomenal world of the markets, to explain why you are getting into a stock, the 10k earnings report, why this particular company versus another company will thrive over time for the long term. Trust cannot be aquired virtually through an automated system or perhaps it is I who is too outdated. I will hold out for the necessity and confidentiality and peace of mind of sitting side by side collaboratively working to assist another person with their particular unique situation through the spectrum of events in a lifetime.
No machine nor automated system is capable of such a level of compassion, caring or tenacity to the details, to track what you want done every step of the way not to mention the confidential nature between individuals.
The reasonable money spent to hire and utilize a live advisor (1-2%) is well worth the moneys spent.
To verify that what I say is true for you personally, I would advocate listen to yourself, try out a robo advisor with a portion of your investible assets.
At the same time, trust a portion of investible assets to a live advisor, someone who is a master at their trade.
Allow one year or two to go by and make a comparison. Then, allow me the privilege to discuss your findings.
I am honored by the question.
